• 1 Qt: Strawberries --Hulled and sliced
• 1 Graham Cracker Crust*
• 1 and ½ Cups Water
• 2/3 Cups Sugar
• 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
• 1 Package of Strawberry Jell-o (Instant/ Sugar Free works perfectly.)
*If you are the industrious sort, you can make a graham cracker crust by smushing (Yes, that’s the technical term ;-) graham crackers and shortening into a pie plate with a pastry blender, but for us mortals there’s always Keebler.
Boil Water. In Separate Bowl Mix Sugar and cornstarch. Add to boiling water. Stir. When Clear, add jell-o. Remove from heat. Slice strawberries and placed in prepared pie crust. Cover with jell-o mixture. Refrigerate 5 hours to set. Serves six.
